Yeah, we said it. Create and use a long password. The greater number of characters you use in a password the more secure it is.
Don't reuse passwords. Every website you log into should have a unique password. No one likes to hear it, but seriously, don't be a knucklehead.
There is an old adage: Security isn't easy. It's true. Protect yourself by consistently using long complex passwords you can change less frequently.
